Rae has been working in the health sector for 30 years and registered as a psychologist in early 2016. She works part time in private practice, and part time at Kids First. She has also previously worked at an Aboriginal Family Counselling Service. Rae works with adults and has a particular interest in trauma, grief/loss, addiction, domestic violence, insomnia and parenting. She also works with people experiencing depression, anxiety, OCD, anger, relationship concerns, somatic disorders, schizophrenia and workplace stress/ bullying.
Rae is a compassionate, hard-working therapist who approaches treatment from a holistic, client-centered perspective, predominately within an Acceptance And Commitment Therapy (ACT) framework. She also has experiencing in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), schema therapy, and motivational interviewing. She is committed to working collaboratively with clients to sensitively explore their concerns and help them achieve their therapeutic goals.
